Art in the Garden at the Artistic Hand

Saturdays are meant for Markets!

Zoe Wolfe at the Artistic Hand, Oviedo, FL.

This weekend I had the absolute pleasure of selling some of my art at the Artistic Hand’s Art in the Garden Art Market. The weather was perfect, amazing conversations were had and lessons were learned! I am overwhelmed with love and confidence after yesterday’s event. Imposter syndrome runs deep and I find myself quietly sabotaging myself as an artist almost daily because of the ways that I compare myself to other more “successful” artists.

My experience at the market yesterday reminded me of a few things:

  1. I AM AN ARTIST! I can scream it from the roof tops because I have a body of work and a noticeable artistic style. Heck yes!
  2. Some people are very drawn to my works and others are drawn to more calm aesthetics and that is totally ok. Different strokes for different folks, am I right?
  3. There are actually people outside of my immediate family that are willing to support my project. (This is a big step to get my paintings out of my room and into the public!)
  4. I am on the right path and doing what I need to do to be successful. Creating art; creating myself.

To those that where able to swing by, THANK YOU! To those who missed it, no worries! More events are to come… I can feel it. 😉
